Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms govern your use of A-Plus Biology (the "Service"), an online AQA A-Level Biology revision platform operated by Hacene Benzekri ("we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian has agreed to them on your behalf.
1. The service we provide
A-Plus Biology gives subscribers access to revision notes, flashcards, exam-style questions with mark schemes, and full practice papers covering the AQA A-Level Biology specification. The Service is an independent study aid. It is not produced, approved or endorsed by AQA, and we do not guarantee any particular exam grade or outcome.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. A subscription is for one individual student; please do not share your login.
3. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Service for your own personal study for as long as your subscription is active.
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
- copy, republish, resell, redistribute or otherwise share our notes, flashcards, questions or mark schemes;
- infringe our intellectual property or that of anyone else;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing access controls or technical limits;
- reverse engineer any part of the Service.
4. Intellectual property
All content, software, branding and materials that make up the Service remain our property (or that of our licensors). Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
5. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Content may be updated, corrected or reorganised at any time as specifications change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Payment, subscription and cancellation
Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of your paid period. See our refund policy for our 30-day guarantee.
7. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously misuse the Service (for example by sharing or redistributing content). Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first. When access ends, your subscription stops and you must stop using the content.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions? Email support@a-plus-biology.co.uk.
